Fijian Drua players are currently participating in daily training sessions across various locations in Fiji as they prepare for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific season. Flanker Vilive Miramira shared that the players are enjoying their time off but are also following a rigorous training regimen focused on conditioning, running, and strength training in the gym.
Miramira, along with teammate Motikai Murray, attended the centennial celebration of the Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) at Albert Park. He expressed his eagerness to seize any opportunity to represent the Flying Fijians, stating that he aims to improve his game knowledge and elevate his fitness level.
In the meantime, Miramira has been keeping active by playing touch rugby in the afternoons in Davuilevu. He mentioned that he is currently focusing on rest and recovery, with a desire to explore the sevens format of the game to maintain his fitness. He expressed interest in joining the Devo Babas sevens team for any upcoming tournaments, encouraging his fellow players and their coach to excel in their next competitions, while extending an offer to join the team if a spot is available.
