Fijian Drua players have been participating in daily training across various locations in Fiji as they prepare for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific season. Flanker Vilive Miramira commented on the current situation, stating, “The players are enjoying their break now.” He mentioned that he is following a rigorous training regimen focusing on conditioning, which includes a lot of running and strength training at the gym.
Miramira recently joined his teammate Motikai Murray at the centennial celebrations of Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) during a Fun and Sports day event at Albert Park. He expressed his eagerness to represent the Flying Fijians, explaining, “I will grab with both hands any opportunity to play for the Flying Fijians.” He acknowledged the need to enhance his game knowledge and improve his fitness level.
To maintain his physical condition in the meantime, Miramira plays touch rugby in the afternoons in Davuilevu. He noted, “There’s no rugby for me at the moment, just rest and recover,” adding that he is interested in participating in the sevens format to stay active. Miramira expressed his desire to join the Devo Babas sevens team for any upcoming tournaments, wishing the team and coach well in their next competition. “If there is any space in the team, just give me a call,” he said.
