Fijian Drua players are actively participating in daily training sessions at various locations across Fiji as they gear up for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific season. Flanker Vilive Miramira shared that players are currently enjoying their break, but he has been adhering to a rigorous training regimen that emphasizes conditioning, running, and strength training at the gym.
Miramira was present alongside teammate Motikai Murray at the centennial celebrations and Fun and Sports Day at Ratu Kadavulevu School in Albert Park. He expressed his eagerness to seize any chance to represent the Flying Fijians. To prepare for this, he plans to enhance his game knowledge and improve his fitness level.
To maintain his form, Miramira typically plays touch rugby in the afternoons in Davuilevu. He mentioned that, at the moment, he is focusing on rest and recovery, but he is also interested in participating in the sevens format to keep active. He expressed a desire to join the Devo Babas sevens team for upcoming tournaments and wished the team success in their next competitions, encouraging them to reach out if a spot becomes available for him.
