Fiji Women’s Futsal Team Sets Off for Historic Tournament!

The Digicel Fiji Women’s Futsal team has left for the inaugural OFC Women’s Futsal Nations Cup, which will be held in the Solomon Islands. The tournament runs from August 17 to 25 and features five teams competing for the opportunity to represent Oceania at the first FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup scheduled in the Philippines next year. Fiji’s first match will be against Tahiti on August 17, followed by a game against Tonga on August 18. They will also compete against New Zealand on August 20 and face the host nation, Solomon Islands, on August 23.
