The Water Authority of Fiji has announced that scheduled maintenance will take place next Tuesday to facilitate the replacement of a DN300 valve on Naduru Road. Additionally, repair work on a leaking fire hydrant along Bau Road will lead to temporary water service disruptions.
Residents are advised to prepare in advance by storing sufficient water for use during this period. The areas expected to be affected include Naduru Road, Visama Feeder Road, Tumavia Village, Nauluvatu Village, Namuka Village, Vaturua Village, Naimalavau Village, Matainoco Village, Buretu Village, Daku Village, Naivakacau Village, Muana-i-Ra Village, Nasilai/Vadrai Village, and Kiuva Village.
