The Water Authority of Fiji has acknowledged an error in the water bills mailed to customers last month. In an official statement, the authority urged those who received the erroneous bills to disregard them.
“WAF informs its valued customers about an error affecting some water bill statements sent via postal mail in August 2024. Customers receiving bills by this method are advised to disregard them,” the statement read.
The Water Authority is currently rectifying the mistakes in the affected bills and will issue corrected statements shortly. They apologized for any inconvenience caused and thanked customers for their understanding during this process.
