Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sitiveni Rabuka announced that the Cabinet has approved Fiji’s Foreign Policy White Paper. In his statement, Rabuka explained that the white paper outlines Fiji’s foreign policy priorities across several key areas: Sovereignty, Identity and Values; Security; Transnational Security; Climate Change; Bilateral Relationships, including relationships with major powers; Prosperity; Development Assistance; and the implementation of foreign policy. The Prime Minister emphasized that a comprehensive government approach was taken in developing the white paper to steer Fiji’s international relations moving forward.
