Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka has announced that the Cabinet has approved Fiji’s Foreign Policy White Paper. In his statement, Rabuka highlighted that the white paper outlines Fiji’s foreign policy priorities across several key areas: Sovereignty, Identity and Values; Security; Transnational Security; Climate Change; Bilateral Relationships with major powers; Prosperity; Foreign Policy and Development Assistance; and the implementation of foreign policy. The Prime Minister emphasized that the development of the white paper involved a comprehensive government-wide approach designed to steer Fiji’s international relations moving forward.
