The Fiji Under-19 netball team wrapped up a three-match series against Aotearoa Māori Netball, with the visiting team winning all three encounters.
Despite the defeats, Fiji’s young netball players gained essential experience and exposure on their developmental journey.
In the opening match, Aotearoa Māori showcased their strength, achieving a commanding 74-29 victory.
Fiji demonstrated some improvement in the second game but ultimately lost 55-44 in a thrilling matchup.
The series concluded with Aotearoa Māori securing a 70-30 victory in the final match held at the FNU Gymnasium.
Although the results did not favor Fiji, the competition proved to be an invaluable learning opportunity for the Under-19 team as they focus on future growth.
