Fiji Teams Up with UNDP for Sustainable Tourism Boost

The Fijian Cabinet has approved the signing of a Letter of Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).

This agreement will provide essential human resource support to the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation from the UNDP through the Gov4Res initiative.

The collaboration aims to facilitate the implementation of key projects such as the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering resilient development across the Pacific region, focusing specifically on supporting small businesses and promoting sustainable tourism growth.
