Fiji Surf Pro 2026 at Cloudbreak to run June 6–14 with live coverage on FBC 2

The Fijian Broadcasting Corporation will bring live coverage of the 2026 Fiji Surf Pro from Cloudbreak as organisers confirmed the event dates and a headline field of competitors ahead of next month’s swell. The World Wave Tour stop will run from June 6 to 14, with seeding rounds set to begin on June 9, qualifying heats on June 10 and finals day pencilled for June 11 — all timings subject to surf and weather conditions. Organisers are forecasting wave faces in excess of 20 feet for the finals, promising one of the most dramatic editions in recent memory.

The entry list reads like a who’s who of professional wave windsurfing. Current World No.1 Bernd Roediger of Hawaii will be among the favourites, joined by World No.3 Antoine Martin (Guadeloupe), World No.4 Morgan Noireaux (Hawaii) and World No.5 Robby Swift (United Kingdom). Former Fiji Surf Pro champions Camille Juban and Baptiste Cloarec are also entered, adding local event pedigree and experience to the heat draw.

The women’s division features notable names as well, including 2022 champion Jane Seman of Australia, Spain’s Maria Andrés and current World Junior No.1 Sarah Kenyon. Australian veteran Jessica Crisp — a five-time Olympian, 23-time World Champion and Sailing Hall of Fame inductee — will add further prestige to the women’s field when competition begins on the Cloudbreak reef pass.

Local broadcaster FBC will air the action live on FBC 2, giving audiences across Fiji and the Pacific front-row access to the competition while the World Wave Tour distributes coverage on its digital platforms. FBC General Manager Television Sitiveni Halofaki said the broadcaster was proud to keep major sporting events within reach of domestic viewers. “At FBC, we are committed to bringing major sporting events closer to our viewers, and we are excited to deliver live coverage of the 2026 Fiji Surf Pro on FBC 2,” Halofaki said, noting the event also showcases Fiji internationally.

The event is being directed by Ian Muller of Fiji Surf Co and will be staged in partnership with the Tabanivono villages of Momi and Nabilla, the traditional custodians of the Cloudbreak reef. Organisers have emphasised the role of local communities in planning and staging the competition, and final preparations are being coordinated as a significant swell window approaches.

This announcement is the latest development in Fiji’s recent rise as a premier event venue following Cloudbreak’s hosting of the 2025 WSL Finals. While last year’s WSL Finals marked the reef’s debut as the location for surfing’s season-deciding event, the 2026 Fiji Surf Pro returns top international windsurfers to the same world-class lefts and heavy barrels that made Cloudbreak a focal point for the professional tour.

With seeding, qualifying and finals all condensed into a tight window inside the June 6–14 call period, organisers will remain flexible to chase the best possible surf. For viewers in Fiji and across the Pacific, FBC’s live broadcast on FBC 2 will bring the action as the world’s best converge on Cloudbreak for what organisers say could be a spectacular, big-wave showdown.
