Nearly 14,000 students registered for the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) are set to begin their exams tomorrow, taking place at 177 examination centers across Fiji.
This year, three new examination centers have been introduced: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in Suva, Nakorotubu Secondary School in Ra, and Muaira Methodist College in Lautoka Yasawa, as announced by the Ministry of Education. The FY12CE is scheduled to run from November 12 to November 22.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has expressed his best wishes to the students, highlighting the importance of community support during this critical time. He reminded students that their upcoming exams represent a significant milestone, reflecting both their hard work and a gateway to their future goals.
“Trust in the preparation you have invested and approach each exam paper with confidence,” Mr. Radrodro advised, acknowledging the mix of excitement and challenges this period can bring. He also stressed the vital role that parents, guardians, and communities play in uplifting students’ spirits and encouraged everyone to prioritize their well-being, rest adequately, and maintain a positive mindset.
This examination period symbolizes a time of hope and opportunity for these young scholars as they embark on the next chapter of their educational journey.
In summary, the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination offers students a chance to demonstrate their learning and set the stage for their future paths, while community support amplifies their success.
