Tourism Fiji has earned a Silver Award at the recent Australian Effie Awards, distinguishing itself in the travel, media, and leisure category. The award recognizes the brand positioning of “Where Happiness Comes Naturally” and is notable as the only winner in its category.
The Fijian Government’s tourism marketing agency highlighted that the Effie Awards are among the most prestigious in marketing, celebrating advertising that is not only creative but also effective in delivering measurable results.
Tourism Fiji’s chief marketing officer, Srishti Narayan, expressed that the recognition made Fiji Day particularly special for them, marking a celebration of the island’s beauty and culture alongside the accolade for their campaign that showcases Fiji’s people and culture.
Narayan emphasized that this achievement reflects the hard work and creativity of their marketing team, as well as collaboration with their creative and media agencies, and the entire tourism industry for supporting the brand positioning. She stated, “We couldn’t be prouder, and this win reinforces our commitment to bringing the spirit of Fiji to travelers everywhere.”
The “Where Happiness Comes Naturally” campaign, launched at the end of 2022, emphasizes Fiji’s authentic culture, experiences, and natural beauty. Since its inception, the campaign has exceeded all industry benchmarks, driving significant traffic to the Tourism Fiji website and contributing to record visitor arrivals in Fiji.
