The South Pacific Boxing Promotion (SPBP) event taking place today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi is expected to be a historic occasion, featuring three international IBO title fights in one night for Fiji and the surrounding region.
During the official weigh-in held yesterday, promoter Freddy Chand reported that most of the boxers attended and were eager for the competition. “All the boxers have made the weight today and all the bouts are scheduled for tomorrow,” he stated.
Chand expressed satisfaction with the turnout and anticipated a large audience. “From South Pacific Boxing Promotion, everything is going smoothly, and we encourage boxing fans to purchase tickets to avoid disappointment. All the bouts are sanctioned and ready to go,” he added.
He also extended his gratitude to everyone who showed up at Nair Dias for the official weigh-in, stating, “I want to thank everyone for coming out in good numbers to support the event.”
