Fiji Schoolboys Triumph Again: A Stunning Victory Over Australia!

The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 team triumphed over their Australian counterparts for the second consecutive time, claiming victory with a score of 34-25 at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

After suffering a 26-14 defeat to the Fijians last week, the Australians aimed to bounce back and started strong with a 10-0 lead, thanks to a converted try and a penalty.

However, the Fiji Schoolboys responded effectively, scoring three tries from Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, along with a penalty kick from Isikeli Bari, ending the first half with a commanding 22-10 advantage.

In the second half, the Australian Schoolboys came back with renewed determination, adding ten points to close the gap to just two points.

Yet, Fiji’s efforts were too strong, as winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade added two more tries, securing the win and the two-match series for Fiji.
