Fiji Schoolboys Triumph Again: A Stunning Victory Over Australia!

The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 team triumphed over their Australian rivals for the second consecutive time, securing a 34-25 victory at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka. After suffering a 26-14 defeat to the Fijians last week, the Australian team aimed for redemption and took an early lead of 10-0, thanks to a converted try and a penalty.

However, the Fiji Schoolboys responded emphatically, scoring three tries through players Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, along with a penalty kick from Isikeli Bari, to establish a commanding 22-10 lead by halftime.

In the second half, the Australian Schoolboys came back with determination, adding ten points to close the gap to just two points. Despite their efforts, Fiji’s winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade managed to secure two more tries, ultimately clinching the series win for Fiji.
