Fiji Schoolboys Triumph Again: A Stunning Upset Over Australia!

The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 team achieved a remarkable victory over their Australian counterparts for the second time, securing a 34-25 win at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

After suffering a 26-14 defeat to the Fijians the previous week, the Australian team aimed to bounce back and began strongly, initially taking a 10-0 lead with a converted try and a penalty.

However, the Fiji Schoolboys responded effectively, scoring three tries through Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, complemented by a penalty kick from Isikeli Bari, allowing them to establish a 22-10 advantage at halftime.

The Australian team returned to the field with greater determination in the second half, adding ten points to close the gap to just two points. Unfortunately for the visitors, Fiji managed to score again, with winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade adding two more tries, thus securing the series win for Fiji.
