The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys rugby team has announced its 30-member squad to take on the Australian Schoolboys in two highly anticipated matches this weekend.
In the front row, props Jone Buadromo, Marika Koroi, Rupeni Nuinui, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Osea Dasalusalu are expected to make a strong impact, supported by hookers Rafaele Dagaga and Waisake Vakacere.
The locking positions will be reinforced by Sosiceni Waqa, Savenaca Nabati, Saimone Vaisova, John Jikoibau, and Savenaca Qabale, bringing additional strength to the scrum.
The loose forwards include flankers Isoa Koroinawai, Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, Samuela Tuidraki, and Sireli Nete, showcasing a dynamic and versatile lineup.
Managing the halfback roles are Meli Waqairadovu, Isikeli Bari, and Ame Sagata, while Anare Tabakaucoro will lead the game from the first five-eighth position. Strong inside centres will be provided by Joji Lutumailagi and Maleli Nauvasi.
Emosi Nuku and Asaeli Gade will contribute to the physicality in the centre positions, while wingers Ilaitia Rakuro, Nathan Stephens, and Duacake Vulainabuwaha are set to shine on the flanks. The fullback roles will be filled by Charles Salakikoro, Josaia Ralulu, and Elima Tolatu.
