After a month of intense training, the Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys under-18 team has been finalized to represent Fiji in an upcoming match against the Australia Schoolboys team next week. Savenaca Muamua, Vice President of the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union, confirmed that the game will be hosted at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Muamua is encouraging fans and rugby supporters to come out and back the young team during this match, highlighting the importance of community support. Tickets for the event will be available on-site, with prices starting at $5 for general admission and $10 for seating in the grandstands.
The team will be based in Sigatoka to prepare for the match, and Muamua anticipates a challenging competition from the Australian squad. The first match is scheduled for Saturday, the 28th, with the kick-off at 8 PM, following an earlier start at 6 PM. A second match is set for October 1, at 3 PM.
