Fiji Schoolboys Dominate Australia in Thrilling U18 Showdown!

The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 secured a second victory over their Australian counterparts, triumphing 34-25 at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka this afternoon. After losing 26-14 to the Fijians last week, the Australian team aimed for redemption and initially took a 10-0 lead with a converted try and a penalty.

However, the Fiji Schoolboys responded decisively, scoring three tries from Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, along with a penalty kick from Isikeli Bari, to establish a 22-10 lead at halftime.

The Australian team came back into the match with renewed vigor in the second half, adding ten more points to close the gap to just two. Yet, Fiji’s winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade managed to score two additional tries, ensuring victory and winning the two-match series for Fiji.
