The Vodafone Fiji School Boys are in the midst of intensive training as they gear up for their much-anticipated match against the Australian School Boys this weekend. The team has been dedicated to enhancing their skills, focusing on both physical fitness and strategic game planning. Recently, they have been training at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes to boost their endurance and strength. Forward Waisake Vakacere expressed his appreciation for the demanding training sessions. He stated, “We are grateful for these training sessions that are happening every day, so yes, we think that the boys are up to the Fiji rugby standard.” Vakacere emphasized that the team is honing their set-piece strategies in preparation for the Australians, noting, “We know some of the factors that the Australians will bring, especially in set-piece moves, so the boys are working hard on that for the game against Australia.”
