The Vodafone Fiji School Boys are intensifying their training ahead of their much-anticipated matchup against the Australian School Boys this weekend. The team is committed to enhancing their performance through daily practice, emphasizing both physical fitness and tactical planning.
Recently, the squad has been conducting training sessions at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes, focusing on building endurance and strength. Forward Waisake Vakacere expressed his appreciation for the rigorous training, stating, “We are grateful for these training sessions that are happening every day, so yes, we think that the boys are up to the Fiji rugby standard.”
Vakacere also highlighted the team’s emphasis on set-piece strategies as they prepare to face the Australians. “We know some of the factors that the Australians will bring, especially in set-piece moves, so the boys are working hard on that for the game against Australia,” he stated.
