During a recent school visit to State House, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, the President of Fiji, warmly welcomed students and faculty from Adi Maopa Secondary School in Vanuabalavu, Lau.
President Katonivere expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their support and for providing the students the opportunity to tour the State House in Suva. He emphasized his enjoyment in receiving visitors from the outer islands.
He congratulated the students for their efforts in making the challenging journey from Vanuabalavu and encouraged them to take full advantage of the learning experiences available on the main island. He inspired them to set ambitious goals and work diligently to achieve them upon their return home.
Furthermore, the President challenged the pupils of Adi Maopa Secondary School to focus on their studies and pursue academic excellence, helping them to become self-reliant individuals in the future.
