Fiji Police Unveils Dream Team for Epic Sukuna Bowl Clash!

As the excitement builds for the upcoming Ratu Sukuna Bowl, the Fiji Police Force has announced its football team set to compete against the Army next month. Navin Sami, the manager of the force’s soccer committee, revealed the 25-member squad on Saturday, following the conclusion of the Police Inter-Formation Soccer Tournament, where Western Division Team Two claimed victory over the Police Mobile Force with a score of 1-0.

A significant portion of the team comprises players from the winning squad, with six of them selected to represent the Police. Sami indicated that the team would soon begin its training camp, featuring prominent players such as Akuila Mataisuva, Simione Tamanisau, Tevita Waranivalu, and Sairusi Nalaubu.

The Police will enter the Sukuna Bowl as the defending champions, having drawn 1-1 against the Army last year after taking the lead in the first half, at the Fiji Football Association Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

Here is the 2024 Fiji Police Sukuna Bowl Soccer team organized by divisions:

Western Division 2: Joela Biuvanua, Isikeli Tamanisiga, Abishek Kumar, Sairusi Nalaubu, Isikeli Ratucava, Viliame Vakatalesau.

Western Division 1: Siddhant Kumar, Sumit Goundar, Ilaisa Nayasi, Ratu Apenisa Anare.

Police Mobile Force: Taniela Baivatu, Madhavan Goundar, Iliesa Lino, Simione Tamanisau, Tevita Waranivalu.

Headquarters: Akuila Mataisuva, Amitesh Goundar, Kalivati Nateru.

Northern Division: Sitiveni Rakai, Ilisoni Logaivou, Vikrant Chandra.

Central Division: Jovilisi Borisi, Joeli Ranitu.

Southern Division: Romeru Takiate.

Eastern Division: Semi Matawalu.
