The Fiji Police Force has announced that there were no incidents of stabbing reported at Albert Park last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, stated that police officers were present at the concert venue from early evening until the event concluded, and confirmed that no stabbing occurred during the event.
Driu mentioned that a social media post was circulated regarding the alleged incident, prompting police officers at the venue to verify the claims. After investigation, it was confirmed that there was neither a stabbing nor any situation that required police intervention.
The public is urged to report any concerns directly to the police to ensure proper investigation, as unfounded claims can lead to unnecessary panic and distress.
