The Fiji Police Force has confirmed that there were no incidents of stabbing reported at Albert Park during the concert last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, stated that officers were present at the venue from early evening until the event concluded, and there have been no reports of any stabbing or other incidents requiring police action.
Driu noted that social media posts alleging a stabbing had circulated, prompting police at the scene to verify the claims. They have since confirmed that no stabbing occurred. The public is encouraged to report any concerns directly to the police to ensure proper investigation, as false claims can lead to unnecessary fear and anxiety.
