Fiji MP Champions Education for Future Success

Independent member of Parliament, Ratu Josaia Niudamu, underscored the government’s steadfast commitment to education as a key to Fiji’s future success during the National Budget debate this week.

Mr. Niudamu lauded the ongoing provision of free education, emphasizing its crucial role in fostering a prosperous nation.

“If Fiji is to be successful, we need to educate our young ones. This budget ensures that will continue,” he stated.

He pointed out that despite economic challenges, the budget prioritizes the education of future generations, guaranteeing that all children in Fiji receive free education.

He also urged parents to actively engage in their children’s moral and ethical upbringing.

“Learning starts at home by ensuring our children grow up as good human beings. Parents, please talk to your children.”

He highlighted the significance of instilling values and guiding children to become responsible citizens beyond academic achievements.

“Watch over them, give them guidance, and help them to become better citizens of Fiji.”
