The Republic of Fiji Military Forces launched a community work and drug awareness initiative yesterday as part of the preparations for the 2024 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl.
This activity began in the morning at the Dilkusha Home, where the team engaged in cleaning the premises, performed maintenance tasks, and planted over a hundred cassava plants for the children residing there.
In the afternoon, the team held a drug awareness session at Gospel High School, focusing on the effects of drug use. Kalesi Volatabu, the founder of Drug Free World, participated in the high school event alongside representatives from the Health Ministry.
This collaborative community effort will continue throughout the upcoming week, leading up to the 2024 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Games.
