Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is contemplating entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. While numerous players will compete for their clubs in upcoming events, the national team may also participate if time allows.

“We’re already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series,” Kolinisau stated. The coach aims to integrate younger players into the squad, recognizing the developmental advantages that local competitions can provide.

“If our schedule permits, we might take part in one or two tournaments. We have many young players coming in, and it’s an opportunity to involve some of these emerging talents in our development,” he concluded.
