Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is exploring the option of entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. With many players set to represent their clubs in upcoming events, the national team could also take part if time allows.
Kolinisau stated, “We are already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series.” He aims to integrate younger players into the team, noting the developmental advantages of participating in local competitions.
“If our schedule permits, we may join one or two tournaments. We have a lot of young players coming in, and it’s an opportunity to integrate some of this fresh talent into our development,” he added.
