Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is contemplating the possibility of entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. While many players will be competing for their clubs in upcoming events, there is a chance the national team might also take part if the schedule allows.
Kolinisau stated, “We’re already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series.” The coach aims to incorporate younger players into the team, recognizing the developmental advantages of participating in local competitions.
He added, “If our schedule allows, we might participate in one or two tournaments. We have many young players coming in, and it’s a chance to include some of these young talents in our development.”
