Fiji Kulas Ready to Make History at FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup

The Fiji Young Kulas are set to make their debut in the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup against Brazil tomorrow, aiming for clear objectives.

Assistant Coach Annette Nainima expressed the team’s desire to perform admirably and secure their first-ever goal in a World Cup match. She conveyed that achieving this milestone would be a proud moment not just for the coaching staff, but also for the players and officials involved.

“This is our first-ever World Cup, and being able to share this experience with our families and loved ones is significant, as no one anticipated that Fiji’s women’s team would reach this level. But here we are,” she stated to OFC Media.

Nainima emphasized the pride of their families back home, who are eagerly awaiting to support them during the live broadcasts of their matches.

“We’re determined to give our best.”
