The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), will conduct a weeklong grassroots coaching course aimed at promoting women’s football in Fiji. Timo Jankowski, the Technical Director of Fiji FA, emphasized that this is an excellent opportunity for local coaches to gain from KNVB’s esteemed global coach education programs. “KNVB is recognized worldwide for its high-tier coach education, and their involvement represents a significant advancement in the development of football in Fiji,” Jankowski stated. The course will take place from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, training 33 coaches. This group will consist of 31 Fijians from various backgrounds like primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, along with two participants from Tuvalu.
