The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), will conduct a week-long grassroots coaching course designed to enhance women’s football in Fiji. Timo Jankowski, the Technical Director of Fiji FA, emphasized that this is a valuable opportunity for local coaches to leverage KNVB’s world-renowned coaching education programs. “KNVB is esteemed globally for its high-level coach education, and their involvement represents a significant advancement in the development of football in Fiji,” Jankowski stated. The course, scheduled from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, aims to train 33 coaches, including 31 Fijians from various backgrounds such as primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, along with two participants from Tuvalu.
