The Ministry of Health is encouraging participation in the Fiji National Immunisation Survey, which runs from September 2 to October 11. This initiative, in partnership with the Social Impact Assessment and Policy Analysis Corporation (SIAPAC), UNICEF, and the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to evaluate the current immunisation coverage and effectiveness, identify obstacles to vaccine uptake, understand reasons behind vaccine refusals, and assess healthcare workers’ attitudes towards vaccination.
The survey is being conducted by a team of 52 trained enumerators and supervisors in various villages and communities, covering a total of 120 locations across Fiji’s four divisions.
