The South Pacific Boxing Promotion (SPBP) event taking place today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi is set to be a landmark occasion, featuring three international IBO title fights in a single night for Fiji and the region.
During the official weigh-in held yesterday, promoter Freddy Chand indicated that most of the boxers were present and eager for the competition.
“All the boxers have made weight, and all bouts are confirmed for today,” he remarked.
Chand expressed satisfaction with the turnout, anticipating a large audience for the event.
“From South Pacific Boxing Promotion, everything is proceeding well, and we encourage boxing fans to purchase tickets to avoid disappointment,” he added.
He confirmed that all bouts are sanctioned and ready to proceed.
Chand also expressed gratitude to the attendees of the official weigh-in at Nair Dias.
“I want to thank everyone for coming out to support the event in significant numbers,” he noted.
