Fiji Football Midfielder Thomas Dunn to Trial with Sydney FC: A-League Opportunity Knocking

Navua football midfielder Thomas Dunn is set to travel to Australia on Sunday for a trial with Sydney FC.

Bula Boys team manager Kartik Reddy has confirmed the news, expressing his excitement. He mentioned that the national representative is now on the brink of joining A-League teams, offering him an opportunity to showcase his talents on a larger platform.

“He will be attending training sessions and playing in friendly matches during his stay with the club from July 8 to 19,” Reddy explained. “His remarkable journey, both on and off the field, has captivated fans and earned him recognition for the trials with the Australian professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales.”

The Fiji Football Association will be assuming full responsibility for Dunn’s trials in Sydney. “Fiji FA is thankful to its affiliate partners in Australia AUFFI and Fiji FA Liaison in Australia, Nick Sharma, for agreeing to provide the necessary support to the player during his trials in Sydney,” Reddy added.

Dunn was a member of the Fiji Football men’s team that recently competed at the OFC Men’s Nations Cup in Vanuatu, where he emerged as one of the consistent and standout players throughout the tournament.
