The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), is organizing a weeklong grassroots coaching course to promote women’s football in Fiji. Timo Jankowski, the Technical Director of Fiji FA, emphasized that this is an excellent opportunity for local coaches to learn from KNVB’s esteemed coach education programs. “KNVB is recognized globally for their high-level coach education, and their involvement represents a significant advancement for football development in Fiji,” Jankowski stated. The course will take place from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, training 33 coaches, including 31 Fijians from various backgrounds such as primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, along with two participants from Tuvalu.
