Currently, an east to southeast wind flow is affecting the Fiji region, with a low-pressure trough located to the south. As of midday today, winds are anticipated to reach speeds of 20 to 25 knots, resulting in rough seas and moderate southerly swells.
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms are predicted for several areas, including:
– Serua-Namosi
– Navua-Suva-Nausori-Tailevu
– Naitasiri, Ra-Rakiraki
– Eastern Macuata
– Southern Bua
– Cakaudrove
– Kadavu
– Lau
– Lomaiviti groups
Other regions are expected to experience cloudy conditions with showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoons or evenings. This weather pattern is anticipated to persist across all divisions and outer islands, with potential isolated thunderstorms occurring in the late afternoon and evening on Saturday.
