The Fiji Meteorological Services has upgraded the heavy rain alert to a heavy rain warning. The warning affects the Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups, Viti Levu, Kadavu, Moala, and the Southern Lau Group.
The forecast for these regions indicates occasional to persistent rain, which may be heavy at times, along with sporadic thunderstorms and localized heavy downpours that could result in flash flooding in low-lying areas.
