The Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry, Hon. Charan Jeath Singh, is in London participating in the 33rd International Sugar Organization Council seminar as a member of the ISO. During his visit, he held discussions with representatives from the Czarnikow Group, a leading global player in sugar trading and value-added products like ethanol. The focus of their conversations was to explore opportunities for enhancing Fiji’s market presence and diversifying its product lineup to ensure better prices and increased profitability for local sugar farmers.

The Czarnikow Group has maintained a longstanding partnership with Fiji, dating back over a century, starting from the time of the Colonial Sugar Refining and continuing with the Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC).
