Fiji celebrated its second consecutive victory in the OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup held in the Solomon Islands by dominating Tonga with a score of 4-0. After starting the tournament with a 2-1 win against Tahiti, Fiji made an explosive start to this match, scoring just ten seconds in when Sofi Diyalowai capitalized on a defensive error from Tonga, firing a shot past goalkeeper Kalolaine Topui.

Despite facing an early deficit, Tonga managed to hold off further goals until halftime. However, Fiji ramped up their offensive efforts in the second half, with additional goals from Diyalowai, Koleta Likuculacula, and Captain Unaisi Tuberi sealing the match.

The teams will take a day off before Fiji prepares to face New Zealand, while Tonga is set to go up against the hosts, the Solomon Islands.
