Fiji Corrections Service Enforces Zero-Tolerance Policy Amid Drug Scandals

The Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service (FCS), Dr. Jalesi Nakarawa, has reaffirmed the significant responsibilities of correction officers and the serious implications of neglecting these duties. His comments followed the recent dismissal of two officers linked to a drug-related incident, underscoring the necessity for high ethical and professional standards in the service.

Dr. Nakarawa stressed that maintaining the integrity of the FCS is essential, asserting that any actions that jeopardize this integrity are unacceptable.
