Fiji’s Home Affairs Minister, Pio Tikoduadua, has made it clear that the country will not tolerate the presence of adult film stars. His statements came after the deportation of Tia Emma Billinger, known as ‘Bonnie Blue,’ and her Australian cameraman, Annie Knight, from the Double Tree by Hilton in Nadi. The duo had reportedly come to Fiji with the intent of producing content for an adult film platform.
Minister Tikoduadua emphasized that the actions these individuals planned to take are illegal under Fijian law. He noted that they had publicly expressed their intentions on social media, which resulted in a breach of Section 377 of the Crimes Act concerning trafficking in obscene materials. As a consequence, they were repatriated under Section 13(ii)(g) of the Immigration Act.

Tikoduadua mentioned the challenge of identifying adult film stars who often use aliases but assured that the Immigration Department would enhance its efforts in identifying and monitoring those who might breach the country’s laws. He stated that, through cooperation with organizations like Interpol, they have access to databases that can help track such individuals.
