Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Ltd, through its Fiji Bitter brand, plays a significant role in enhancing the lives of Fijian players and supporting rural community development via sponsored tournaments. Many players, who have distinguished themselves in both domestic competitions and at the national level, have participated in these Fiji Bitter-sponsored events.

This weekend, Fiji Bitter is collaborating with Kadavu 7s for a three-day tournament aimed at renovating facilities at Namalata District School. The initiative also seeks to upgrade the school’s restrooms and repaint classrooms in time for Christmas.

Lynda Tabuya, Minister and president of Kadavu 7s, confirmed during the launch that the Kadavu Rugby Union and the tournament have contributed $5,000 towards this project.

Approximately 24 teams will compete in the men’s category, 12 teams in the U18-U21 division, and four teams in the women’s pool. The tournament kicks off today, with the final scheduled for Saturday at the Namalata School grounds in Kadavu.
