Fiji Backs Sustainable Tourism with UNDP Partnership!

The Fijian Cabinet has granted approval for a Letter of Agreement to be signed between the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).

This agreement will enable the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation to gain essential human resource support from the UNDP through the Gov4Res initiative. The collaboration aims to facilitate the implementation of key initiatives, including the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering resilient development across the Pacific, focusing specifically on enhancing small businesses and promoting sustainable tourism.
