Fiji and UNDP Join Forces for Sustainable Tourism Growth

The Fijian Cabinet has given its approval to sign a Letter of Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).

This agreement will provide essential human resource support to the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation from the UNDP through the Gov4Res initiative.

The collaboration aims to assist in the implementation of key projects, including the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.

This partnership underlines a shared commitment to fostering resilient development across the Pacific, focusing particularly on supporting small businesses and promoting sustainable tourism growth.
