A recent bilateral meeting between Fiji and Brazil has led to advancements in the sugar and bio-energy sectors for Fiji. Minister for Sugar and Multi-Ethnic Affairs Charan Jeath Singh reported that discussions with Brazil’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mauro Viera focused on strengthening international relations and enhancing Fiji’s sugar industry.
An official update from the Government highlighted the potential for increasing cooperation between the two countries. The meeting, which took place during the 30th edition of Fenasucro and Agrocana in Brazil, was regarded as a pivotal moment in the ongoing dialogue between Fiji and Brazil, reinforcing their dedication to shared development objectives and interests in the sugar and bio-energy sectors.
