Fiji Airways Strengthens Tourism Ties with New Member Benefits!

Fiji Airways has renewed its collaboration with the Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association (FHTA) to provide discounted travel for FHTA members participating in international tourism roadshows and trade events.

This renewed memorandum of understanding (MoU) aims to enhance collaborative opportunities, promotional activities, and mutual support among members. The initiative seeks to strengthen the tourism sector by leveraging the strengths of both FHTA and Fiji Airways, ultimately contributing to the growth, resilience, and global competitiveness of Fiji’s tourism industry.

FHTA CEO Fantasha Lockington described the renewed MoU as a significant milestone for the association and the larger tourism sector. “We eagerly anticipate continuing our collaboration with Fiji Airways and uncovering new opportunities to advance our sector,” she stated.

Fiji Airways’ CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen expressed excitement over the partnership, emphasizing the MoU’s potential to provide valuable benefits to all FHTA members. He noted, “We’re thrilled to strengthen our collaboration and continue contributing to the growth of Fiji’s tourism industry.”

The previous MoU, which ended on July 31 of the previous year, has now been extended and updated through December 2025. The agreement, initially available only to active FHTA members including hotels, resorts, and dive and marine operators, has been expanded to encompass all 131 members of FHTA.
