Shaenaz Voss, the former executive general of Corporate Affairs at Fiji Airways, and Sharun Ali, the airline’s general manager of Safety, Security, and Quality, were summoned for questioning at the Nadi Police Station yesterday. Accompanied by their lawyers, the two arrived at the station shortly after noon and were interviewed by officers from the Suva-based Criminal Investigation Department.
They left the police station after 5 PM. Acting Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, confirmed that both individuals were interviewed under caution and subsequently released.
Waqa stated, “They were questioned regarding a breach of the Civil Aviation Security Regulation in 2018.” The investigation is ongoing.
